"Dear God," . . . .
What's the point of trying?
Cause even though I pray,
I still feel like dying.
And I wonder
can you see
There is a world inside of me.
A part of me that no one knows
This massive sadness that never shows.
How can you watch as my faith hangs by a thread
The light grows distant
And I'm convinced you want me to jump over the edge.
Oh "Sweet Savior"
How can you watch as my life hangs over YOUR head.
It seems you've forgotten. . .
The countless times I've waited.
Arms open. Fingers Crossed.
Anxious. Hopeful.
