The Claw of Hunger

The hunger clawing at my stomach is like a wild beast with its gaping maw
Saliva and foam hanging from its jaw
My eyes stopping at its very sharp claw
And laid in front of it was a bone that appears it would gnaw
The roar and grumble from the savage beast
Leaves me fascinating the delicious feast
With chicken and steak and meats galore
I’m not sure what I’m waiting for
It is my stomach that feels this hunger
The hunger clawing and ripping and gnawing
The hunger making the savage beast of a stomach grumble and roar
Trying to evade The Claw of Hunger
