Favorite Quote:
It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.

I sit in the heart of the enemy,
content,
but wary,
prolonging days,
make ways,
the enemy can plan,
talk their tongue of poison,
and bite their way through with, fangs,
chameleons,
everywhere you have to watch for,
lose your cool,
and you get caged,
how hard it is in the jungle,
trying to survive,
they are clawing and jumping,
to reach the things,
that fly,
I don't know where I'll be,
this is my life,
because I am a teenager,
I live the teenage life

My English teacher once told me that my teenage years are tough, and few people would choose to go through it again. Though this guidance was for a different poem, not this one,it still applies to this poem too.
