Swimming in the Sea
If only I was a sea turtle,
I would swim in the waters,
As nothing in world ever matters,
I would use my shell to protect me,
Hide from the world as well,
Hiding in my shell will be no fun,
It will be like hiding from the sun all day long,
But it is the way a turtle must live and the way I must as well,
It’ll be a risk I must take,
In order to live at harmony,
But being a turtle does have many benefits,
They swim through the sea as if they are flying through the clouds,
The sea acts as the sky and their fins as wings,
Soaring above the ground as free life should be,
Up in the sky at ease without a worry in mind,
Even though they cower beneath the surface,
There is no mean to forget them, as they are still part of life,
They too have dreams they could look up to, goals they can achieve,
They can complete this in their life span it’s very large indeed,
Beyond what a human could ever see,
Sea turtles are endanger, that I do know,
But their life does have significance,
A turtle is no different from us,
They know how to love,
They know how to grow,
But most importantly they know how to hope.
