Belief
The things i know as truth,
have all but disappeared,
for there's no such thing as air,
whenever you are near,
I've given up religion,
put science on the shelf,
because i pray to you,
and i worship nothing else,
both light and electricity,
are things i now despise,
for none of these shine brighter,
than the fire in your eyes,
i know one thing is certain,
the only truth is this,
within your gentle palm,
is where my heart is.
