How do I tell you?
From the first time I met you,
I always saw you as a brother.
 I cried on your shoulder.
 You held me tight.
 You were cold,
 So I could be warm.
From the first time I met you,
I always loved you like my brother.
 You sat in my room
When I was in the hospital.
 You cried on my shoulder,
 When liver failure was discovered.
I told you not to worry,
 I was a fighter.
 I cried on your shoulder,
     even then.
I always saw you as a brother.
When you told me it was all gonna

  be ok.
But here we are now in eighth
     grade.
 The doctors are worried.
 How shall I tell you?
You have always been so easy to
     tell everything to.
How do I tell you this?
