Out of Touch

November 3, 2012

Four walls of red surround me,
Confine me,
Contain me.
I am lost within their grasp.
My world becomes this room of red.
The same setting
Everyday.
I am a body within the space,
Alone.
Solitary.
Singular.
I am not like the others.
I do not do as they do,
I do as I do.
Alone.
I wonder if they have forgotten me,
As I float in a continuous sea of red.

I was feeling down and wanted to capture it with words. I'm sure many can related to that lonely feeling.
