The Net
It trickles with unnerving control;
each drop divine in its destination,
for its success is predetermined.
Ravished becomes the fertile host,
by such unforgettable ambiguity;
yet, we fight it fervently,
unbeknownst to the origins.
Naturally illusive, our fears,
we think we've conquered;
the foreshadowed projection,
forgotten for a while.
Uncovered by our conscience,
we find it haunts us still.
Afraid to fall, we all are;
with good reason, I assure.
The Net only exists for those who believe.
