Point
I am a pin
 Red at one end
 The end that makes me
 Calm, Happy, Safe
 Me

 But

 I am sharp
 I have a point
 Cold, hard, solid
 This end makes me
 Vicious, murderous, cruel

It’s the only thing people want from me

 I stare at a world
 That doesn’t need me
 That doesn’t want me
 It just wants my tasks
 My help
It needs me to do its dirty work

 I’m a hired
 Murder, torture, assassin
I hear the screams of the posters and cork right behind me

 But

I am helpless to stop their pain
I live by the hands of my master
 Incapable to control myself
 To stop my point
 From plunging into
 Flesh

 You see me
 You are my master
You can relive so much pain
 But you don’t
 Why?
 Because you need my point
Because you need me to do your dirty work
