The chatter the chime
The clacking and clamoring
Oh look at the time

The squish the squash
The squiggling and squirming

I want to leave
I can’t breath
There’s one thing here
Another there

I’m cramped and scared
I long for silence
I long for peace

There there there everywhere
There’s no silence only clamor
Only noise
Loud proud
Harsh cruel
Mean keen
I hear the screams
I hear the shouts
The calling and crying
The banger and batter
The pound and grumble
I want out!
