Invisible Ink
His eyes hold no color, his smile no hints
 Tells me he loves me.
I am transparent, I open my heart
He’s told that I love him
But he’s not readable, a book of blank pages.
Invisible ink, he says I can read
I have the pen and the ink
He wants me to find him to seek out the secrets
 Hidden white on white
 I cannot see them.
My mind wants black and white.
So close he says, I’m almost there.
 But there’s invisible ink.
