That boy and that girl.
With stomachs twisted sourly
 A boy and a girl
 Were sitting quite awkwardly
 That boy and that girl
Their mouths creaked open and shut
Without a peep or a tweet
They glanced at each other but
turned away and quietly shuffled their feet
 The silence it grew
 the boy and girl caught
 Their minds were a stew
 Of delicious sweet thought
 Their hearts raced around
 And loud as they were
 The other was bound
But the beat was not heard
Although the two had quite different hopes
There was a bridge between them
All it took was a strong line of rope
And an acrobat to see them
 The girl had her peers
 The boy not a clue
So the love turned to tears
 There was nothing to do.
