Giving Up Fairy Tales

Where's my knight in shining armor
My prince and a late night ball
I thought I was a princess
Someone who had it all
I now sit in a tattered gown
Covered in dirt and tears
Wishing it to go back to normal
Not wallowing in my fears
I was robbed that night
The night you said goodbye
How could you leave your little girl
Leave her alone to survive
With no fairy godmother
Or any mother of the sort
I became the new Cinderella
With relationships so distort
With so many questions
I don't know where to start
But the question I can't stop wondering
Did you even love me with all your heart
