Two weeks
Semesters over
I got through it
Only with one big scrape
Skipped class
Missed homework
Failed the class
Mom wasn’t mad
She understands
Learned my lesson
Won’t mess up again
Have to take my pills everyday
Eat right and exercise
This is real life
Working towards a university
I can’t stop working
Can’t slow down
Do everything possible
Four semesters if my goal
Get associates
And go to a real school
This is real life
Can’t back down
