Eyes Like Cold Pearls

Aggrandized lashes fan her lashes
which stare like cold pearls
pierces through glass and stone
Long red nails mindlessly
finger her coiffure--intricately weaved in gold and jade
Her crimson lips purse as she ponders
How do I survive?
Will I ever escape this labyrinthine of schemes, trickery, and mendacity?
Lifting her delicately rice bound feet,
She lounges forward into the deep blue
