Shove it away inside.
If you leave your heart wide open,
You won’t come out alive.
Don’t let yourself be troubled,
By the burdens that arise.
Life will throw you curveballs,
That’s inevitable yes you see.
Put it in your peacock locket,
And throw away the key.

I was inspired to write this poem because of an activity i did in my writing class. I absolutely loved "peacock locket" so i decided to write a poem about it:)
