Wondering what
to do with my hair
When I should have been
With you, out there
Watching you fall
Onto the floor
Holding your hand saying
"Hold on a bit more"
Closing your eyes
As they took you away
Watching your condition
Sway and sway
Hoping you're alive
Though all signs point to no
Hoping you didn't
Already go
But I should've stood with you
And took a shot
Instead I stayed in
Keeping the door
Locked
