A tickle of sunshine
Splashing cheekbones in
Golden light.
A whisper of a promise
On the butterfly winds
Of that springtime air.
A sixth sense of knowing
What true happiness feels like,
As naked toes find warmth in
Cloudlike grasses
An insane feeling
That nothing can get better than this
Simple,
Lovely,
Incredible moment in
Time.

This piece was inspired by that moment you sometimes get where you want time to stop because everything is perfect and just so incredible. It can happen anywhere, anytime, even during the most average day. I hope when this poem is read it inspires people to see the extrordinary in ordinary days and to think of a moment they've had like this when nothing's going right, so that they have the strength to persevere.
