The Lake and You

It shines
The sun rises
It dims
The sun sets
Campfires rising
And soft sonnets
Given by the wind
Whispered through the clouds
Waters murky
Algae, so green
Most things under
Go quite unseen
Splashing and jumping
Wishing and Falling
Into the emotion called love
Yet not quite knowing
What lay ahead
The lake
Oh, it glistens
But it doesn't compare
to the green, green algae
In your beautiful blond hair
