"Sometimes imagination makes things out far worse than they are; yet without imagination not much can be done." -- Winston Churchill

I remember those young summer nights
when I would lay out in the grass.
My shirt was soaked with humidity and memories,
and I would stare at the open sky.
I remember how warm the grass was as it
tickled my bare-feet. The
bejeweled sky began to glisten
as I searched for constellations.
I remember seeing satellites race across
the sky and how at peace the world seemed.
Slowly the stars seemed to fall. Rain.
Each kamikaze raindrop fell to my body,
rapidly increasing in speed and intensity.
My body was being stimulated. The rain.
The wind. The sudden drop in temperature.
The suicidal raindrops died on my shirt.
The stars were now invisible behind the nimbocumulus clouds. I was surround by chaos.

And I loved it.
