When the sun sets
And the darkness arrives
The demons come out
From deep within
The corners of the mind
Feeding on the evil thoughts
And fear withing the soul
Sinking their claws into the heart
Leaving horrible pain behind

But the sun will rise again
Pushing away the demons
Light overwhelms everything
Purifying the thoughts
Vanquishing the fear
And healing all the wounds
Inflicted upon the heart

Even in the darkest moments
Hope will always shine again
