The Storm
The clouds are gray
 The sun has gone astray
 The rain is falling
 The rain is bawling
 The wind, it blows
 Breathes through open windows
 A flash of light
 A striking sight
 A startling rumble
 Causes the earth to tremble

Have you seen if once again?
Was it the same as back then?
 Have you felt it yet?
 That moment of regret?
 Do you remember me?
And how we felt so free?
Do you recall the eye of the storm?
And how we were somehow still warm?

 You're not here
 But the storm is near
I no longer see its Beauty
 Instead I see its Deadly
 You can't save me
But I need you so badly

 I shake with terror
 This will last forever
 I cry a single tear
 It has become clear
 That the storm has arrived
 And this time
 I might not survive
