The human mind is a blessing
Mine is a curse
Some see the world as a play toy
Some give up and leave the race
I see the world as a ball of hurt and pain
Fear anger anxiety
I bear them all
The starving girl, clinging to her like a demon
The girl at the bus stop, head in hands
Because her one has become her none
My mind is a curse my back is carrying the weight
of a million sorrows pains and fears
There is one who was set before me
and carries this burden i carry
But my mind is a curse
the heart is a blessing.

Before I sound completely pretentious....who were you alluding to in the last bit of your poem..."there is one who was set before me and carries this burden I carry?" Sometimes your stuff sounds almost religious. But maybe I'm reading into it. And this was really good!!
