Time Heals All Wounds

They say that time heals all wounds,
but it’s been awhile
and I still want to be with you.
The pain doesn’t fade,
no matter how much time passes by.
I see you every day,
and you seem just fine.
From the outside it doesn’t seem like much,
but for me it was my everything.
They say that time heals all wounds.
I’m waiting for that time
when I’m finally over you.
