What would it be like
I wonder
To be as cherished as she is
To have a man look at me
With love beyond the physical
Beyond appearance
Beyond imperfect reality
Would the utter trust
In those fathomless eyes
Cause me to blush?
Cause me to hide?
Or does being loved like that
Change you
Perfect you
Make you look back at the person
With the same expression
Of boundless belief in your beloved
