Have I Told You...
Have I told you that I like you?
Have I said that I’ll be true?
Have I told you that I like you?
Cuz’ I do, I really do.

I haven’t told you that I like you,
haven’t said that I’ll be true.
I haven’t told you that I like you.
 It’s a mystery to you.

What if I told you that I like you?
 Said that I’ll be true?
If I told you that I like you,
 what would you really do?

I’d like to think you’d smile in shock,
 and laugh with sweet surprise.
 I hope I’d bring a shining,
 to those bright brown eyes.

I might tell you that I like you.
I might say that I’ll be true.
And in my heart I’ll pray,
that the same is true of you.

When I tell you that I like you,
when I say that I’ll be true:
 I know that most likely,
 you’ll say, “Who are you?”
