She puts her head down
Her shoulders shake
With the weep of self-loatihng
They laugh and turn away
Lest they feel a drop
Of this pain
A taste of this guilt
They look for more
Hunting, always, for prey
Settle on someone new
Their actions make up her mind
Today, she will end the cycle
She will not speak
She will not write
She will not live
She puts her head down
There is a quiet comfort in her decisions
They laugh,
Successful again
Thats how good girls get their highs
