"it is what it is" "i don't know what your talking about "" you did what for how many jellybeans ???"" s*** happens but life goes on so rub dirt on it get up and show them who's boss" " you are who you are and no one can change that"life hasn't end

I was raised by Philly
The sounds of guns and
The sight of cops

I was raised by the city
And the movement of the
Beat on the side streets of Kensington

I was raised by Philly
Their food that could take
You on an adventure
The roughness of life
I was raised by Philly

Philly’s a thug-muggen’ thief
It’ll lie to you
Your fly-lyin’ high ridden fun

I was raised by Philly
The joy-ridden high-flyin
Excon prison findin cops

I was raised by Philly
That low-lyin full of nothing
Street rats who pick-pocket
The low-lyin high-flyin
Kite-lyin low-life no good Philly

But I still call it my home …..
