Godess
These straps
 hold too much in
 the fair beauty
 of a maiden's skin

 This fabric
 has so much to hide
 too delicate to harm
 not made for mortal eyes

 Her shape
 etched from milky white stone
 too easy to break
 if it grows to cold

 Her eyes
 painted gray
 as if her soul
hid a star in its place

 Her voice
 whispered by her lips
 too gentle
to deceive you with a kiss

 Her hair rippled
 like a sun ray
 thinner and softer
 than any of the fey

too beautiful to be a shadow
 too kind to stay
 too numb she left you
 as her hand slipped away
