The future depends on what we do in the present.

When the clock strikes midnight,
Change will happen.
The horror comes out.
My magic expires.
My life so pretty suddenly turned around.
Promptly sprinkled with ashes to cover the sparkles.

When the clock strikes midnight,
I’ll slowly start to scrub away the hate.
My tears make stains on the floor.
Then they spark a twist.

When the clock strikes midnight,
Twirl me under the stars.
Wash away my pains,
Wash away my fears.

When the clock strikes midnight
All will be forgotten.

"Be the change you want to see."

Wow. That was unique. Unlike anything I've ever read before. Please read, rate, and comment on my poems! Thanks!
