there don't have to be words
when butterflies
fill the spaces
in between
lips,
hands,
and hearts.
instead,
the beautiful sound
of breathing
and light brush
of cheeks
fill the silence.
the shooting stars
and racing hearts
define this moment.
there don't have to be words
when words
don't do justice
to this feeling,
to us.
there aren't words for you.
there's a feeling
somewhere between
invincibility
and love.
there's a quiet truth singing,
the world is ours, babe.
all ours.
