In the concrete jungle, vast
The tone of grey is forever cast

But looking skyward one might see
A splash of color, so beautiful to me

The object is other worldly, out of place
Cutting through the monotone space

To a stick her body is bound
Four stories above the ground

Looking skyward, one might see
A splash of color so beautiful to me

Eagerly waiting for the sunshine hour
Heroically stands a city flower
