Judging others does not bring you on a trip to happiness
It leaves you every moment of your life confused
Confused about the world, the people around you
It leaves you focused on them, focused on the differences
Until you realize how many differences there are
The differences between places, things and people
Then again, there are so many similarities
The similarities between places, things and people
That everyone has feelings and can hurt
Just like you can

The author's comments:
What inspired me to write this poem is our society. Everyday we witness judgment. We never really know how much judging people can hurt until you are in their shoes. I hope people understand that it isn't right. Putting others down shouldn't bring your self esteem up. Everyone is born beautiful, but I don't believe enough people realize it yet.
