Grass green,
Lime green,
Pea green…
How green thou art!

Brushed in trees
And colored in peas
Or that gross icky stuff ejected when you sneeze.
How green thou art!

Of Leprechauns, dragons, and the incredible Hulk
Great green paint will be carried in bulk.
Being a green creature is no reason to sulk.
How green thou art!

Green is the color of jealousy and rage
Also the color of parsley and sage
And green of luck to the women who well bear their age
How green thou art!

But how green are you?
Are you feeling too blue?
Or are you conforming to those “other colors” too?
How green art thou?

Do you feel green with life?
Or blackened with strife?
Or blushing a little red in search of your color wife?
How green art thou?

But how green you seem…
Not all too mean…
Just a little more to your color than seen.
How green thou art!

Dollar green!
Evergreen!
Forever green!
How green thou art!
