Poems from Above
I don't know of much more beautiful
 Than viewing elegant clashes of thunder
 Tickling the darkness
 Miles and miles in the distance.
 With twinkling city lights below,
 in multitude and microscopy
 from a tiny white airplane
 Above a vast, intriguing world.
 Which is the sky,
 And which is the life we live?

 The empirical and dazzling stars
 Spread paper thin across the infinite book
 Of its beholder.
 With clusters of more;
 Solar systems of stars
 Met by galaxies, and the universe.
 All through the hands of human beings?
 City lights, I ask you
 Which way is up?
