I've gone mute
my tongue cut out
by my colorless dreams
my thoughtless mind

there is nothing to say
and no reason to talk
so how can I speak
without words to declare

when even happy songs
make in side me ache
how can I feign joy
when the feeling evades me

dear diary
I'm so empty
