in an old dirt road toward the west
where i come from
there are cowboys riding on horses
around these fields
where i come from
there a couple plow-boys
out turning up dirt
where i come from
there are American soldiers fighting for our lives
where i come from
there's a bunch of trucks around
all covered in mud
where i come from
people have a country talk and a country walk
where i come from
we all live like Americans on American rides
where i come from
we just live the country life
