The picture

A snap
A shutter
A moment captured forever
To lay undisturbed for days
Months
Years
The crisp edges growing dark
Yellow clouds the picture
But that smile still remains
A perfect moment in time
The love they once shared
Growing cold
Like a never ending snow storm
Grey and frostbitten
Is it possible to gain that feeling once more?
To have back such memories
The laughs
The kisses
The glances
Have they gone to the wind?
To never be seen or heard from again?
Or are they lost?
In a never ending cycle of love and pain
