I sit in,
An empty bed,
On my side,
Hoping your side,
Will soon be filled.

Thinking about,
You’re missing shadow,
Next to mine

The missing half,
Of my broken heart.

Thinking to myself,
About how the spaces,
Between my fingers,
Are where yours fit,
Perfectly.
