I am the same person I have been
all my life, but I am nothing,
like that girl you've always seen
the girl you thought was smiling
we both know what I am
but, see, you and I,
we can't by any means try
to comprehend who I am
I'm not that part of me
who was so sure
who she'd be
I don't know my future
but I look forward
to the life that awaits
and I can't look backward
or I wont reach heaven's gates
