What is This Feeling?

It was always great when we were together.
I never knew how to describe it; I called it friends.
But when we became distant i knew something was wrong,
This empty feeling inside, what was it? I didn't know

After all this time I know what it is; that void so big and empty.
It's that feeling you get when you really get close to someone.
That feeling you get when you really want to be with someone.
I finally know what it is.

This was thought of during the time that someone I was close to and myself were not really talking and avoiding each other. I hope that people find that person in their lives and to never let them go. I thank the person I found and have known for a long time and spent some of the happiest times of my life with. Thanks again for being there.
