Bittersweet Truth
I can’t do this anymore;
 Walking past each other
 Wearing our blank faces
 Like we’ve always been strangers.
Is this how things are supposed to be?
 What happened to the love,
 The passion, the happiness?
I’m not Cinderella or Snow White,
 Where I can pretend.
 I live life.
 This is reality.
 No happy ending.
 No prince charming.
 No perfect life.
 Though this is life,
 You are my reality.
 Hoping you’ll realize that
 Keeps me going.
 I’ll fight
Till I have no energy left.
 Maybe one day
 We can discover that passion
 Again.

I wish I could get the love of my life back. I walk past him every day like we've always been strangers.
