The guitar was strummed
Whimper and pleads
Lyrics and whispers
Blood and feet
Soul and heart
Their laughter
His lyrics
Scared and bruised
Happy and bleeding
From bullies
From the guitar strings
A thousand thoughts
A clear mind
By-standers
Listeners
Rejected
Accepted
The guitar was strummed
The punches flew

One of friends plays guitar and used to bullied. He wasn't ever beaten up but I'm sure it could have escalated into that.
