The Black Veil of Night

Alone in the woods with no way out.
The darkness of the night wraps around me,
Encasing and pulling me inside it.
I scream.
Its no use as I slowly fall down as if I were being sucked into a black hole.
Lightning suddenly flashes overhead in the sky and the heavens open up,
Pouring cold rain down on me. I start running, but I disappear back into the black veil of the night.
