Drink by drink day by day i try to forget but i can't
These eyes of mine are filled with agony of so many memories
I tried to follow your steps but the only way to get to you is by passing away
Drink by drink my life is slipping away
I try to find you but i can't seem to find the way
I can't blame anybody but still my soul is in pain
In the mornings i hear you call out your name and at night all i can do is dream
God knows my time will come then i will reach out my hand and i will see you in heaven
