Go on, say it,
I dare you.
Tell me all the old clichés,
we were never meant to be
we’re better off apart,
you never really loved me.
Tell me all your lies,
plenty of fish in the sea,
plenty of guys out there,
wanting to be with me.
Tell me where you stand,
where your life will lead
what you’ll do, who you’ll see,
what you will succeed.
Go on and tell me all the words I dread
Before you do, I beg of you,
Listen to your heart and not your head.
