Just so Simple
You were home from college on winter break
I was in high school focused on grades
You came back to help with what you could for tonight's performance
I was ripping tickets at the door helping everything run smoothly
You came over slickly just talking to an old friend
I never though of it as anything different until you walked away giving me that look
You had it all figured out
I was just trying to get by
You made it all sound so easy there after the show
 I couldn't help but fall
You had all the right answers
I was yours from that day
Because with you it is just so simple
Your hand fits right into mine
I remember the first time you kissed me
 You hold me close and
I know that we can get through anything
You are always just so busy but
I can't help to be proud
You are just so perfect in everything
I only wish that you were here with me
