My Alice
Annoyance spelled out
Through shut eyes and scrunched mouth.

Your hair sways to the tune of summer breeze
 It’s tainted. It’s soaked. It’s shadowed.
With air drenched in musky cholera
Both kiss me swiftly, slap me soundly

 I wasn’t who I said I’d be,
 And for that I apologize
But shut eyes and scrunched mouth
 Suit you not.
