You don’t understand
The way I am
Everything I do is doubtful
Every action I make is second-guessed
You may not see it
But it hinders my performance
The anxiety I get
Dribbling
Passing
Taking shots
Everything I do is always wrong
This fear runs my life
What if I mess up?
What if I’m not good enough?
And worst of all
What if I fail?
Every thing I say to assure is to no avail
My competence, though good is ruined by my lack of
Self confidence
Every attempt to succeed banished by my fear of failure
I am stuck on a plateau going no where
