funny how

we wander aimlessly

through the portals

of life

until we

intertwine

with that one being

who draws us

vivid maps

and builds us

smoothly paved roads;

that one being

who

gives us

a direction,

a purpose.

The author's comments:
I was inspired to write this by a new friend of mine. He really showed me that I do mean something in this world, and encouraged me with my writing. I hope that from this poem, my readers will comprehend that it is okay to not know where your life it going. Everything will eventually fall into place, and someone may just come along and help that happen.
